Thematic Workshop on the EUSAIR Master Plan on Energy for the Adriatic and Ionian Region: Energy Outlook, Priorities and Prospects
The thematic workshop is organized within the framework of the activities of the Thematic Steering Group 2 (TSG2) on Energy of the EUSAIR Pillar 2 "Connecting the Region" with the support of the EUSAIR Facility Point PP6 Friuli Venezia Giulia Autonomous Region.
The workshop will discuss the new EUSAIR Master Plan on Energy, its objectives, priorities and challenges, supporting the Region’s path towards a green, secure and connected energy system.
Discussions will focus on cross-border cooperation, renewable energy deployment, energy efficiency, and innovation, paving the way towards a carbon-neutral and integrated regional market.
The event will take place on 27 November 2025 from 14:30 to 18:00 p.m. in hybrid format – in Trieste at the premises of the Presidency of the Autonomous Region of Friuli Venezia Giulia (Sala Predonzani – Piazza Unità d’Italia 1) with entrance from via dell’Orologio 1, and online through the EUSAIR Stakeholder Platform.
Through keynote speeches and round tables, the event will bring together representatives from governments, regulators, operators, stakeholders and communities, which will have the opportunity to share their perspectives, contribute with ideas and shape the future of energy for the Adriatic and Ionian Region.
